CAAM: Mainland CN Sep NEV Exports Double YoY
In September, the national automobile export volume of Mainland China crossed 600,000 units, with new energy vehicle (NEV) exports maintaining high growth, becoming the core driver of export growth, data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) showed.

Among which, passenger car exports reached 560,000 units, a MoM increase of 5% and a YoY increase of 22.4%; and commercial car exports totaled 93,000 units, a MoM increase of 18% and a YoY increase of 13.3%.

Exports of internal combustion engines vehicles (ICEVs) were 430,000 units, a MoM increase of 11.1% and a slight YoY increase of 0.5%; and exports of NEVs were 222,000 units, a slight MoM decrease of 0.9%, but still doubled YoY.
