CN Aims to Further Regulate Competition Order in NEV Sector
China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, National Development and Reform Commission, and State Administration for Market Regulation jointly held a symposium on the new energy vehicle (NEV) industry to discuss further regulation of the industry's competitive order.

The initiatives the meeting called for included industry enterprises' greater efforts in product price monitoring, product consistency supervision and inspection, and shortening supplier loan terms.

The meeting also urged further improvement of policy measures, strengthening the construction of a unified national market, and promoting quality improvement and upgrading of the automotive industry, while speeding up the introduction of standards for energy consumption limits and battery recycling safety in NEVs.
